National Federation of Music Clubs hosts a Festival each year. Our Festival Date this year is Sunday, February 3, 2008 to be held at Evola Music Store in Utica, located on 23 Mile Road and Schoenherr. Events include: piano solos, duets, trios, concertos, hymns and vocal solos and duets. Students play or sing two solos by memory for a judge, that evaluates how well they did on their performance and awards them a rating. Superior ratings award the students with 5 points. When students reach 15 points, they get their first gold cup. Gold cups are awarded every 15 points. This encourages a student to continue their study of music to reach the goal of gold cups. Students who receive at least 2 consecutive superiors qualify for state festival held at a different location each year in Michigan. Each year that we have sent students to perform at State, at least one of our students has been named a State Winner. Key Benefits
